Jordan Mills is a Deaf director and writer based in Los Angeles. Their work centres on Deaf narratives told from the inside — stories where sign language, community, and identity are not the subject, but the lens. Their debut feature Hands of the River screened at 14 festivals across 9 countries and won Best Documentary at the Deaf Film Festival Berlin 2024. Jordan is a graduate of the AFI Conservatory and a founding member of the Deaf Filmmakers Collective.
