A Deaf filmmaker returns to the river valley where they grew up to document the last generation of signers in an isolated mountain community. As relationships deepen and language begins to fade, the film asks what it means to preserve a culture that was never meant to be recorded — only lived. Shot entirely in ASL with no voiceover narration.
